<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for production of a porous material which is capable of adjusting a pore size of not only a pore having a small pore size but also a pore having a large pore size. <P>SOLUTION: The porous materials are produced by preparation of a mixed solution of a polymer containing a lactide-caprolactone copolymer in a solvent with comparatively low solubility to the polymer and a solvent with comparatively high solubility to the polymer followed by lyophilization of the mixed solution by controlling the content rate of the solvent with comparatively low solubility to the afore-mentioned polymer in the mixed solution and cooling the mixed solution at rates of 300°C/hr or lower to give the porous materials with pore sizes of 30-1,800 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
