CONNECTION STATE DETERMINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely determine the quality of connection state of an optical fiber connected by an optical connector.

SOLUTION: The connection state determining device 1 is provided with: optical sensors 2(2') receiving stray light from an optical connector 18 to transform it into electric signals; amplifiers 3(3') for transmitting the electric signals output from the optical sensors 2(2') to the post-stages without loss; A/D converters 4(4') for converting the electric signals that are analog signals outputted from the amplifiers 3(3') into digital signals; an arithmetic processor 5 arithmetically processing the digital signals outputted from the A/D converters 4(4'); and a display device 6 for displaying the arithmetic result by the arithmetic processor 5.
