PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a filament reinforced polypropylene resin molding material which can use a carbon fiber bundle which satisfies both suitable workability and adhesive property with polypropylene, and in which a molded article obtained is excellent in mechanical strengths. SOLUTION: The method for producing a filament reinforced polypropylene resin molding material comprises: a step of preparing a carbon fiber bundle by drying after making a primary treating agent containing an epoxy resin adhere to the carbon fiber; a step of drying after making a secondary treating agent containing an aminosilane compound adhere to this carbon fiber bundle; and a step of making the polypropylene resin containing at least 1 mass% of an acid modified polypropylene resin impregnate, and drawing out.
