<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved surgical clip fixing device and a method using it. <P>SOLUTION: The surgical clip fixing device 10 and the method to fix the surgical clip to a blood vessel, a duct, an anastomosed region or the like during a surgical operation are provided. As one embodiment, the surgical clip fixing device 10 is provided to include a housing 12, a movable trigger 16 which is connected to the housing 12, a long shaft 18 extending from the housing 12, and jaws 20 which are formed on a distal end of the shaft 18 and oppose to each other. The trigger 16 is constituted to advance the clip, to determine the position of the clip between the jaws 20, and to move the jaws 20 from an opening position to a closing position to fasten the clip of which the position is determined between the jaws 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
