PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal with security function which disables operation when the mobile terminal is not changed for a fixed time by a specific charger or at a specific position. SOLUTION: When a mobile terminal 1 is out of user's hand by a theft or the like, a time measured by a timer 15 (unavailable period) exceeds a fixed time and a security flag is turned OFF except in cases where the mobile terminal is charged by a specific charger 2 (or it is changed at a specific position). The security flag remains OFF until it is again charged by using the specific charger 2 (it is charged at a specific position). The mobile terminal 1 does not accept the user's operation during that time. Thus, the leakage of personal information stored in the mobile terminal 1 and abuse of the mobile terminal 1 by the third person can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
