PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal and a broadcast receiving method capable of reducing disturbance caused by wireless communication in receiving a broadcast program. SOLUTION: A control section 40 of the mobile terminal discriminates the communication operating state of the wireless communication to generate a signal path selection signal CG. The signal CG turns off a transistor 224 so as to avoid the occurrence of distortion at amplification by adding a signal component of a wireless signal to a received signal obtained by receiving a broadcast signal when the wireless signal is transmitted or a signal level of the received wireless signal is greater than a preset level, and the received signal obtained by receiving the broadcast signal is fed to a main amplifier 223 via a resistor 232 and a capacitor 234 configuring a signal path wherein no amplification is carried out. When no distortion is caused at amplification, the transistor 224 is turned on, a transistor 231 amplifies the received signal obtained by receiving the broadcast signal and supplies the amplified signal to the amplifier 223.
