PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly pickup a dispensed article without waiting for an outlet door to open, and reliably illuminate the article dispensed to an article outlet, when selling an article in a vending machine of cans, PET bottles and the like. SOLUTION: An arithmetic control part 10a synchronizes with an article vending start to flash all illumination means 7a to 7c and also open the outlet door 5 with a door opening/closing means 6, so that the automatic opening of the outlet door 5 smoothly synchronized with the article vending start allows the article purchaser to pick up a dispensed article smoothly, and that the flashing of all the illumination means 7a to 7c during the opening operation can notify the operation of the outlet door 5 to the article purchaser to safely perform the opening operation.
