PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner for developing electrostatic charge image, capable of suppressing the occurrence of coarse grains and the deterioration of the particle size distribution, and homogenizing compositions, and a particle size distribution measuring system which can be used in the method. SOLUTION: The method has an emulsification/dispersion process, in which emulsified primary particles are obtained by continuously emulsifying/dispersing the dissolution/dispersion solution, obtained by dissolving or dispersing a toner composition, consisting of a coloring agent and resin in an organic solvent in an aqueous medium containing a fine particle dispersant, and a control the process which controls the cohesion and agglomeration of the emulsified primary particles. The ratio of the arithmetic mean residence time of the composition in the control process to that of the composition in the emulsification/dispersion process is 1 to 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
