PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which is excellent in offset resistance and separability and ensures such very little toner adhesion as to solve the problem of filming on a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: In the toner, when an unfixed toner image transferred onto a recording medium using the toner is pressure-bonded and held on a substrate surface heated to a certain temperature and the recording medium is peeled at a constant speed in a direction perpendicular to the substrate surface, maximum tensile strength ratios satisfy relationships of equation 1: 1.0≤(FT120/FT160)≤1.5 and equation 2: 1.0(FP100/FP200)≤1.5, wherein FT120 represents a maximum tensile strength (N) at a pressure of 100 kPa and a temperature of 120°C; FT160 represents a maximum tensile strength (N) at a pressure of 100 kPa and a temperature of 160°C; FP100 represents a maximum tensile strength (N) at a temperature of 160°C and a pressure of 100 kPa; and FP200 represents a maximum tensile strength (N) at a temperature of 160°C and a pressure of 200 kPa.
