PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device whose pixel defect is inconspicuous. SOLUTION: A display part 11 has a plurality of display elements arranged in matrix and each of the display elements displays identical image. A lens array part 12 is arranged closely to the display part 11. The lens array part 12 has a plurality of lenses. Each lens is arranged so that one lens corresponds to one display element. Each lens emits light of an image of a corresponding display element as nearly parallel light, which is made incident on the left eye 21L and right eye 21R.
