PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed structure constituted by imparting rigidity to a flexible material foam of a thermoplastic resin high in sound absorbing capacity but poor in rigidity and usable as a sound absorbing material for various industrial materials or the like. SOLUTION: This honeycomb sound absorbing structure is constituted by filling the respective cells of a honeycomb structure core comprising a thermoplastic resin (B) with foam comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and laminating the a sheet comprising the thermoplastic resin (B) on one side of the honeycomb structure core. Preferably, the bending rigidity of the thermoplastic resin (A) is 1-100 MPa and the bending rigidity of the thermoplastic resin (B) is higher than that of the thermoplastic resin (A).
