PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate glass machining method for simultaneously performing polishing of an edge part and sticking of an electrode by the same device. SOLUTION: When machining the edge part of plate glass 1 by a chamfering wheel 2, a device sticking a conductive substance to the plate glass via a sliding contact part in machining, is used as the chamfering wheel. The chamfering wheel includes the conductive substance in its composition, or discharges the conductive substance from a hole arranged in the sliding contact part.
