Method of determining transmitter coil specific high frequency excitation pulses for accelerated partially parallel acquisition based volume selective magnetoresonance imaging

The method involves emitting a first sequence of volume selective high frequency stimulation pulses along a transmission trajectory reduced according to an acceleration factor via a first transmission coil. A resulting response signal is received along a reception trajectory by all receiving coils simultaneously. These steps are repeated for all transmitting coils. The same is then done for a second sequence of pulses. A combination coefficient is derived from all response signals and transmitter coil specific pulses are calculated. Independent claims also cover a computer software product.
