<p>An adjustable bed (18) having an upper frame (24) mounted to translate with respect to a lower frame (22). A center support (40) is connected to the upper frame (24) and has a head support (42) pivotally connected to one end thereof. A thigh support (44) is pivotally connected to the other end of the center support (40) and a foot support (46) is connected to the other end of the thigh support (44). The bed (18) includes an improved mounting for a massage motor (70) in which a massage motor (70) is suspended from a mounting plate (74) resting on a mattress pad or base (48) supported by an articulated support platform (100).</p> |
