An adiabatic pipe is provided to be applied to a pipe in which high heat is generated by maintaining the excellent adiabatic property, the advantage of a light expanded polystyrene, and the heat-resistant property. An adiabatic pipe is formed of a light expanded polystyrene and contains an inflammable agent. In a method for manufacturing the adiabatic pipe covering the outer peripheral surface of a pipe(2) through which a fluid is fed, a pipe(10) is formed by expanding a polystyrene resin. The liquefied inflammable agent is injected into the pipe and then the inflammable agent is dried. The inflammable agent is injected to the surface of the pipe at a high pressure or is injected into the pipe by using a nozzle.
