<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication device and a method, capable of preventing abnormal operation of an on-vehicle unit. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle-mounted units 1a-1n having ID, communication devices 2a-2n having ID and connected with the on-vehicle units 1a-1n, a gateway 3 which controls communication by the communication devices 2a-2n, an ID detection device 5, an input/output signal detection device 6 which detects an input/output signal to the communication devices 2a-2n, an abnormal operation judging device 7, an input/output signal processing/determining device 8 which changes the input/output signal for causing the abnormal operation of the on-vehicle-units 1a-1n to the signal for performing correct operation, and an input/output signal processing/indicating device 9 to the communication devices 2a-2n are provided, and the input/output signal processing/indicating device 9 processes the input/output signal at the stage before inputting/outputting the signal to the on-vehicle units 1a-1n when the signal for causing the abnormal operation is input/output to the communication devices 2a-2n. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
