<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a production program read into a self-model mounting apparatus without specific conversion operation by an operator even if the data have different data format formed for a new version model developed after the self-model. <P>SOLUTION: In the part mounting apparatus, a part is mounted on an objective board according to a production program after the production program is read in. The part mounting apparatus includes a model determining unit 12 for determining whether the read production program is compatible with a new version model fabricated for a part mounting apparatus which is developed after the self model, a newest format conversion unit 14 for converting the production program which was determined as compatible with new model, to the newest model data format, and a self model format converting unit 16 for converting the production new model compatible program which was converted to a newest model data format, to the self model data format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
