PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the radiation efficiency of an antenna as to the antenna and communications equipment that uses the antenna. SOLUTION: The shape of a casing, the position of the antenna in the casing, the shape of the antenna, the position of an antenna peripheral component in the casing, and the shape of the antenna peripheral component are inputted as variables, and then the optimum values of these variables are calculated by a simulation program.
