PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable blower for a laser oscillator which suppresses a reduction of blast efficiency to a minimum level. SOLUTION: The blower (10, 20, 120) for circulating a laser medium between a discharge vessel (102) and a circuit (104) in a laser oscillator (100) prepares a casing (12) having an intake air port (12a) and an exhaust port (12b), and wings (16b) supported freely in rotation within the casing so that they might face the intake air port and the exhaust port. The wings are formed in profile in which a size of its diameter is different depending on a location of cross-section perpendicular to a rotating center line (O), then a clearance (G<SB>o</SB>) between the wings and the casing, at a portion in which diameters of the wings are relatively big, is made to be wider than a clearance (G<SB>i</SB>) between the wings and the casing at a portion in which the diameters of the wings are relatively small.
