PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bending endoscopy instrument which is structured so as to always secure the good operability of an endoscope without exerting a weight burden on an operator during the operation of the endoscope. SOLUTION: The electric bending endoscopy instrument is equipped at least with an electric bending endoscope composed of a long and slender insertion portion to be inserted into a coelom, a bending driving means to electrically drive a part of the insertion portion so as to bend and an operating portion structured separately from the bending driving means and electrically connected to the bending driving means and which observes and treats the coelom, a system controller electrically connected to the electrical bending endoscope and which controls the electric bending endoscope in a unified manner, and an endoscope holder composed of a bending driving unit incorporating the bending driving means and holding a part of the electric bending endoscope and an arm portion continuously connected to the bending driving unit and holding the unit. The removable continuous provision of the bending driving unit to the base end side of the insertion portion electrically connects the electric bending endoscope and the bending driving means.
