PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for downsizing a narrow band longitudinal coupling primary to ternary dual-mode SAW filter. SOLUTION: In the longitudinal connection dual mode SAW filter configured by cascade-connecting two longitudinal coupling primary-ternary dual mode SAW filters each comprising three IDT electrodes located nearby along a propagation direction of a surface acoustic wave on a piezoelectric substrate and grating reflector each located at both sides of the three IDT electrodes, at least a pair of electrode fingers are interleaved from the IDT electrodes located at the outside and floating electrodes are located to the space from which the IDT electrodes are interleaved to configure the narrow band surface acoustic wave filter.
