PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust transmission intervals with high accuracy in the DMA reading and transmission of data on a memory. SOLUTION: A descriptor has descriptions of an address(high) and an address(low) representing high order 32 bits and low order 32 bits of the recording start address of a corresponding packet on the memory, respectively, and 16-bit length representing the packet length, and also has the description of a delay representing a delay time for adjusting the interval of the DMA transfer of the packet.
