PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation system that can improve the operability of a user during installation and effectively use media even after the installation. SOLUTION: The installation system includes an information processor 1, a peripheral device 8, and a first storage device 16. The peripheral device 8 has a storage device mounting means 15 of mounting the first storage device, which stores software to be installed in the information processor 2 to control the peripheral device 8. Once the peripheral device 8 is connected via an interface 2, the information processor 1 installs the software stored in the first storage device 16 via the peripheral device 8 and deletes the software from the first storage device 16 after the installation of the software is completed.
