PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the amount of liquid crystal charged in a display section more accurate and uniform with little labor while maintaining high production efficiency of a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel 55 has a 1st substrate, a 2nd substrate disposed opposite the 1st substrate, a display section liquid crystal layer interposed between the 1st and 2nd substrates, and a sealant enclosing the outer periphery of the display section liquid crystal layer between the 1st and 2nd substrates. This sealant forms a liquid crystal flow passage 6 communicating with end portions of the 1st and 2nd substrate at at least one place of the outer periphery, a sealing member 22 which seals the liquid crystal flow passage 6 from outside is arranged at an end portion of the liquid crystal flow passage, and an expansion section 21 is arranged halfway in the liquid crystal flow passage 6 as an inside closing member formed closing the liquid crystal flow passage 6.
