PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent not only the content of printed data from being known by other parsons but also the printed medium from being forgotten to be taken out by a user by giving information on abandonment related to the medium before the printed medium is abandoned. SOLUTION: A printing apparatus receiving the data and printing it on the medium, has a printing part for printing the data on the medium, an accumulating part for accumulating the media on which the data is printed by the printing part, an abandoning part for abandoning the accumulated media in the accumulated part, and an informing part for giving the information on the abandonment before the media are abandoned.
