PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to sort fine particles in terms of sphericity while avoiding inclusion of defective particles with acceptable particles, even when fine particles are supplied at a high rate. SOLUTION: With the use of the machine for sorting fine particles based on sphericity, defective particles 50B are separated from acceptable particles 50A by a vibrator mechanism 30, the defective particles 50B are guided to a direction by a guide part 24 on a particle fall plate 22, so as to cause the defective particles 50B to move away from an acceptable particle fall region GA, and thus the acceptable particles 50A are further clearly separated from acceptable particles 50A while they are rolling and falling on the particle fall plate 22. Therefore, the defective particles 50B will never be mixed with the acceptable particles 50A, even when fine particles 50 are supplied at a high supply rate to the particle fall plate 22, causing the defective particles 50B to move around or be flicked by collision with each other.
