OIL-WATER SEPARATING METHOD AND OIL-WATER SEPARATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separation apparatus in which oil-water separation can be performed at a high speed even when the oil-water separation apparatus is compact. SOLUTION: The oil-water separating method comprises a step of supplying an air bubble in the liquid which is to be treated and is stored in a treatment tank 11 to surface the oil content contained in the liquid to be treated together with the supplied air bubble and separate the oil content from water, in the concrete, the steps of: mixing air in the liquid which is to be treated and is pumped out of the lower part of the treatment tank 11; circulating the air-mixed liquid by pressurizing the air-mixed liquid by a circulation pump 31 and spraying the pressurized liquid from a nozzle 33 arranged in the lower part of the treatment tank 11 to return the liquid to be treated to the treatment tank 11; and supplying the untreated liquid to be treated to a circulation pipeline system of the liquid to be treated. Since the oil-water separation apparatus is operated intermittently while supplying the untreated liquid to be treated to the circulation pipeline system, the total operating time to treat the liquid to be treated can be shortened.
