<p>A signal line noise detecting circuit (12N) detects components estimated as noise included in a signal inputted to a noise canceler (19). Simultaneously with this detection, a power supply line noise detecting circuit (12P) detects power supply line noise reflecting the operational status of electrical equipment that may be a source of noise that gets into an antenna or the like. The thus obtained detection results of the signal line noise detecting circuit (12N) and power supply line noise detecting circuit (12P) are weighted and added together by amplifying circuits (13N,13P) and an adding circuit (14). A waveform shaping circuit (15) generates, based on the weighting and adding result, a gate control signal. A gate circuit (16) operates, in accordance with the level of the gate control signal, to remove the noise components included in the input signal of the noise canceler (19).</p> |
