<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a blade for an electrophotographic device good in dimensional accuracy even when two blades are manufactured simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the blade, two holders are arranged opposite to each other and then one blade producing member is formed of thermosetting resin over the two holders, so that an integral molding comprising the two holders and the blade producing member is produced, and then the blade producing member is cut to be bisected so as to obtain two blades comprising the holder and a blade member. The blade producing member is cut while the edge in a cutting line direction at the thermosetting resin joining part of one holder is deviated from a perpendicular to a cutting line passing through the edge in the cutting line direction at the thermosetting resin joining part of the other holder, and the blade producing member existing between the two holders is extended in a perpendicular direction to the cutting line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
