<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter which has low ventilation resistance, can catch and inactivate a bacillus, virus, etc. in air with a high catching efficiency, and produces no deterioration of antibacterial ability by ozone. <P>SOLUTION: A polymer material, for example, a strong basic anion resin is made to contain iodine, which is an antibacterial agent, by ion exchange adsorption, the polymer material containing the iodine is processed in a filament form to make a filter raw material, a nonwoven fabric is made by using the filter raw material, and an antibacterial filter 3 is formed by using the nonwoven fabric. An activated carbon filter 4 formed using an activated carbon is formed, for example, on the downstream side of the antibacterial filter 3 and is employed for an air cleaner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
