PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter controller capable of supplying ignition power and stably conditioned power to at least one lamp. SOLUTION: A method based on one implementation example includes a step to supply ignition power and stably conditioned power to at least one lamp. The method of this implementation example similarly includes a step to receive a feedback signal showing power supplied to the lamp during the ignition period of the lamp, a step to compare the feedback signal with a signal approximately equal to the signal showing stably conditioned power, and a step to maintain supply of the ignition power to the lamp during the period in which the feedback signal remains ranked lower than the signal showing stably conditioned power.
