PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of smooth intake and exhaust of discharge gas by reducing resonance space formed between a frit and a dummy barrier rib and suppressing generation of noises. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel comprises a front substrate and a rear substrate arranged mutually opposed to each other, an address electrode and a display electrode arranged mutually separated in crossing direction between the front substrate and the rear substrate, a barrier rib arranged to demarcate a plurality of discharge cells in the space between the front substrate and the rear substrate and form a discharge region and a non-discharge region surrounding the discharge region, and a dummy region which demarcates dummy cells by dummy barrier ribs arranged separating the non-display region and the display region. The dummy region comprises a horizontal barrier rib band formed in belt-shape parallel to one side end of the discharge region and a fan-shape part surrounded by the outside arc part in the extension direction at the both ends of the horizontal barrier rib band.
