PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove capable of performing attention arousing by a sound while reducing the consumption of a battery of a stove power source. SOLUTION: In this gas cooking stove, a stove body is loaded with a voice guide means having a voice IC performing the attention arousing by a voice guide, and a piezoelectric buzzer means performing the attention arousing by a buzzer sound, and the attention arousing is performed by a piezoelectric buzzer or both the piezoelectric buzzer and the voice guide according to the kind of an attention arousing factor when the attention arousing factor is generated. As a voice mode for the attention arousing, a voice-present mode operating both the voice guide and the piezoelectric buzzer, and a voice-absent mode operating only the piezoelectric buzzer are provided. The voice mode can be switched by a manual voice switch, and can be switched from the voice-present mode to the voice-absent mode by automatic selection when a battery voltage of the stove power source is reduced to a prescribed voltage or lower. When selecting the voice-absent mode, only the piezoelectric buzzer is operated regardless of the kind of the generated attention arousing factor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
