PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor hood adapted so as to be usable also for air supply and capable of keeping a closed state long even against pulsating wind to prevent intrusion of outside without generating flapping noise. SOLUTION: This outdoor hood comprises a main body 8 having a cylindrical part 5 to be inserted to a duct 4 and an opening part 7; a hood 9 opened downward; and a shutter 11 supported by a support shaft 10. The shutter 11 includes a vertically movable moving shaft 12 engaged with triangular movement grooves 14 provided on both inside surfaces of the hood 9. According to this, since the shutter 11 is laid in a closed state, when located at the top part, and substantially keeps the closed state until the wind is stopped, intrusion of outside air into a room 2 can be prevented, and the flapping noise of the shutter can be also prevented.
