PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a large torsion angle without enlarging a lock-up damper device while obtaining vibration inhibiting effect of muffled sound or the like. SOLUTION: This lock-up damper device 17 comprises: a lock-up piston 18 having a facing 19 frictionally engageable with a driving-side rotating member 5 on its one face; a plurality of spiral springs 21, 22 of low rigidity and a plate spring 23 of high rigidity stacked on the other face of the lock-up piston; connecting means 18j, 18k, 21c integrally connecting an outer peripheral edge of the lock-up piston and an outer peripheral edge of the spiral spring; relative rotation permitting means 18j-18n, 23e-23h permitting the relative axial rotation of an outer peripheral edge of the lock-up piston and an outer peripheral edge of the plate spring within a prescribed range; and a rotary motion transmitting means 24 for transmitting the rotary motion of an inner peripheral edge of the spiral spring to a driven-side rotating member 26.
