PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide device capable of suppressing local wear. SOLUTION: The linear motion guide device has a plurality of cylindrical rollers 13 interposed in a rollable manner between raceway surfaces 11a, 12a provided at the mutually facing side faces of a guide rail 11 and a slider 12, and the slider 12 reciprocated in the extended direction of the raceway surface 11a of the guide rail 11. Shot-peening treatment is applied to the raceway surface 11a of the guide rail 11 and the raceway surface 12a of the slider 12 to increase a friction coefficient of the raceway surface 11a of the guide rail and the raceway surface 12a of the slider 12, and the rolling surfaces of the plurality of cylindrical rollers 13.
