PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment connecting structure having high rigidity and high yield strength of the same degree as a segment body, and capable of securing flatness of a segment surface without requiring construction cost and labor so much. SOLUTION: This segment connecting structure in a structure is formed by connecting a segment member in the tunnel peripheral direction and the shaft direction by using a joint member; and is characterized by being connected to a joining metallic material 6 arranged in the respective segments 3 by arranging a connecting member 2 by straddling the segments 3 adjacent in the peripheral direction in adjacent rings, by arranging the connecting member 2 for fixing the joining metallic material 6 of exposing an engaging part with the connecting member 2 to an external part to both sides in the segment width direction as the joining member between the segments 3 and having the connecting function between the segments and between the rings.
