PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wheel drive car capable of switching between four wheel drive and two wheel drive modes, shortened in the switching period of time in a driving state. SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 is furnished with an outside air temperature sensor 38 to detect outside air temperature, a 2WD/4WD switch 42 to input switching instruction between a two wheel driving mode and a four wheel driving mode, a transfer 10 to change mechanical power transmission of the two wheel driving mode and the four wheel driving mode, an actuator 12 to actuate the transfer 10 and an ECU 30 to control the actuator 12. The ECU 30 decides a supplying electric current to the actuator 12 in accordance with a detected value of an outside air temperature detection part. Preferably, the transfer 10 includes a synchronizer mechanism to fit a driving shaft and a driven shaft to each other when rotation of the driving shaft and the driven shaft synchronizes with each other by transmitting rotation of the driving shaft to the driven shaft by force generated from the actuator 12.
