PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-data recording device capable of preparing a desired album disk on the basis of image data inputted from the outside. SOLUTION: The image-data recording device has an operating section capable of being operated by a user, a disk medium for recording various data and an input section for inputting a plurality of the image data from an external recording medium. An album reference table related to the plurality of image data is prepared from the external recording medium (steps S116 and S120). The image-data recording device further has a conversion section for converting at least a part of the image data in the plurality of image data into video data on the basis of prepared album reference information and a writing section for writing the video data converted by the conversion section to the disk medium.
