<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional humidifier that since the lateral dimension of a humidifying part and its air passage is restricted because of the arrangement of parts such as a water supply tank related to supply of water to the humidifying part on side surfaces of the humidifying part and its air passage, a sufficient width cannot be ensured resulting in a low humidifying capacity and an increase in noise and power consumption involved by the load increase of a blower. <P>SOLUTION: In this humidifier, at least part of the parts related to the supply of water to the humidifying part is arranged in the rear of the humidifying part and its air passage to supply water to the humidifying part. By such a structure, the restriction of the width dimension of the humidifying part and its air passage can be reduced, and a humidifying part having substantially the same width as the inner width of a humidifier body can be mounted. Consequently, the humidifying capacity can be improved, and the load of the blower can be reduced to reduce the noise and enhance an energy-saving property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
