<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a carpet matching to a dimensional shape of an object surface. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of sheets 2 and 3 as copy paper of A3 standard, for example, are arranged on the object surface 1 for laying the carpet, and image data are provided by photographing the object surface 1 at an optional camera angle by a digital camera 10. This image data are sent to an information processor 60 possessed by a service providing dealer via a network 50. The information processor 60 introduces a conversion formula for associating an optional coordinate value on the image data with a coordinate value on the object surface 1 on the basis of an image of the sheets 2 and 3 included in the image data and a value of these specified dimensions. The information processor 60 also converts a coordinate value of respective points of the contour of the object surface 1 on the image data into the coordinate value on the object surface 1 on the basis of the conversion formula.
