PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic diagnostic equipment, capable of reducing the number of switch parts while transmitting/receiving signals in such a way that the level of the quality of images can be retained. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe 11 comprises transducers 31, transducer-side cables 32, connected to the transducers 31, in the same number as that of the transducers 31, body-side cables 33, connected to a device body 10, in the number smaller than that of the transducers 31, a switch part 34 for switching the connection to the transducer-side cables 31 of groups A and C and to the body-side cables 33 of a group D, and a resistor 51 disposed between the transducer-side cables 32 of a group B and the body-side cables 33 of a group E.
