PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a fusant by fusing cells by using a frozen protoplast of a yeast. SOLUTION: The method for fusing the cells by electrical fusion of the frozen protoplast of the yeast, finished by discovering that the fusing rate is extremely increased by the electrical fusing method when fusing the frozen protoplast is provided.
