PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program, an apparatus and a method for producing an album, which produce the album, having separated pages in accordance with an image shooting position and an image shooting time for a camera. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the album, comprising an image storage unit for storing the image in accordance with the image shooting time and the imaging position for the camera; a deciding unit for determining the importance of the image shooting time and the image shooting position for the images stored in the image storage unit; a unit for classifying a plurality of the images stored in the image storage, based on the imaging time for each page in the album, based on the imaging time stored in the image storage, when the deciding unit determines the image shooting time has higher importance than the imaging position; a unit for classifying the plurality of the images stored in the image storage, based on the imaging shooting position for each page in the album, based on the image shooting position, when the deciding unit has determined that the imaging position has higher importance than the imaging time; and a layout unit for determining the layout of the images, which are classified by the unit for classifying the images, based on the imaging time or the unit for classifying the images, based on the imaging position, by each page in the album.
