PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston-temperature measuring system for an internal-combustion engine, having sufficient durability required under usage conditions. SOLUTION: The piston-temperature measuring system for an internal-combustion engine measures the temperature of moving parts, including a piston that uses electromagnetic induction. On the engine block side, a transmitting coil, a receiving coil, and a support around which the transmission coil and the receiving coil are wound and which is made of a magnetic material for forming a magnetic field are provided. Among the supports, the part around which the transmitting coil and the receiving coil are wound is covered with a protective member of a material, having higher strength than the breaking strength of the support.
