PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain shutter door apparatus capable of permitting to easily pull out rain shutter doors by reducing a pulling force required when pulling out the rain shutter door from a door pocket though each sliding storm door has an ordinary structure with door rollers. SOLUTION: This rain shutter door apparatus comprises a frame 4 made of a top rail 4a, a bottom rail 4b, right and left stiles 4c and 4d installed to an opening 3 of a structural body 2 of a building; top and bottom door guides 6a and 6b installed to the outdoor side of the top rail 4a and the bottom rail 4b for guiding each rain shutter door 5 when opening or closing the door; and a door pocket 7 installed to one end side of the top and bottom door guides, in which a plurality of rain shutter doors 5 can be stored in an overlapped manner. The rain shutter doors 5 respectively have door rollers 11 at the bottom; and also a guide member 26 has guide surfaces 26a and 26b sloped downward in a door closing direction B and in an interior direction C from a corner at the inner part of the door pocket 5 on a bottom board 20 of the door pocket 7. Also provided at the end of the door pocket side of the rain shutter door pocket 7 is a smoothly moving member 27 capable of smoothly moving the rain shutter door on the guide surfaces 26a and 26b while holding the door roller 11 in a floated state at the door pocket side when pulling out the rain shutter door 5 from the door pocket 7.
