PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet guide capable of regulating the maximum number of layered sheets on a paper feed table according to the sheet size by means of a simple structure without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This sheet guide 50 is provided with a sheet side face guide 20 and a guide stopper 30. The paper side face guide 20 is provided with a hole 23, through which a first regulation rib 22 regulating the number of maximum layered sheets stacked on the paper feed table 11 and a second regulation rib 32 in the guide stopper 30 are passed, and is freely displaced in the direction orthogonal to the paper feed direction (arrow D-E direction) on the paper feed table 11. The guide stopper 30 is provided with the second regulation rib 32 which is arranged to be separated from the paper side face guide 20 and extended in the paper layering direction in the position lower than that of the first regulation rib 22. The maximum number of layered small-size sheets with is regulated by the first regulation rib, while that of large-size sheets is regulated by the second regulation rib. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
