PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operation stability by enhancing the lateral rigidity of a pair of trailing arms even if lateral force is inputted in turning traveling of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The trailing arm type suspension device is provided with the pair of trailing arms 6a, 6b apart from each other in a vehicle width direction and extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Vehicle rear sides of the respective trailing arm are connected to a pair of wheel support members for rotatably supporting left and right wheels and vehicle front sides of the respective trailing arms are connected to vehicle body side members. Twisting members 10a, 10b, 8, 12 having a twisting central position extending in a vehicle width direction are bonded to the vehicle front side between the pair of trailing arms 6a, 6b while spaced apart in the vehicle longitudinal direction respectively. Further, a ground-contact point S of the wheel and the twisting central position of the twisting members 10a, 10b, 8, 12 are positioned on a virtual straight line K1 in side view of the vehicle.
