PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side mirror support device for a construction machine having support structure which prevents an accidental turn displacement from being generated by having a function of storage/development for the utilization of an operator. SOLUTION: The side mirror support device is equipped with a support stay 2 which has the side mirror at the upper end part and a cylindrical base end part, a stay mounting fixture 10 which is fixedly mounted to the important point and turnably inserts and supports the base end part 2A of the support stay 2, a positioning locking means 30 which is annexed to the stay fixture 10 and fixes the turning of the support stay 2 at a specific position, and an elastic holding means 20 which vertically movably, turnably and non detachably holds the base end part 2A of the support stay 2 in the stay mounting fixture 10.
