PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal apparatus using the ecology of earthworms which can maintain the activity of earthworms regardless of seasons, and can easily recover the worm cast. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a hot/cold water circulation device 2 which runs through hot water during low temperatures, and runs through cold water during high temperatures and dry in order to maintain the living floor temperatures for earthworms. The apparatus is equipped with an electric bug killer 1 in a lid of the apparatus for killing newly-emerged adult worms inside the apparatus when maggots are generated, and with a device also having a function of an insect trap for attaching an insect trapping net at the exhaust terminal of an exhaust device inside the living floor for the earthworms for trapping newly-emerged flies, black flies, or the like. Additionally, the apparatus is equipped with a device for scraping out from the bottom face of the living floor for the earthworms by rotating a floor receiver 4 itself of the living floor for the earthworms, thereby making the recovery work of the worm cast easy.
